Invicta Park Barracks strategic development location is located in the North of the town centre and will look to deliver 1,300 new homes, along with associated facilities and infrastructure by 2037.
Key Features
- 1,300 new homes to be built.
- Provision of an 8 FE all through school (2FE primary and 6FE secondary) on the wider Invicta Park Barracks site
- Retention of a Hindu place of worship within the site
- Enhanced walking, cycling and public transport connections to the town centre and local area.
- Preservation of Park House (Grade II*) and its setting, in particular the parkland to the north and east of Park House
- The SPD should have a focus on celebrating the military heritage and broader history of the site.
