Coxheath

Area Designation

Following a Community Governance Review Coxheath Parish Boundary was changed in 2023. As a result, the Neighbourhood Area Designation ceased to have effect as per The Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Part 3 Section 61F. Upon discussion with Coxheath Parish Council to understand if they wished to redesignate their new parish area as a neighbourhood area it was confirmed in February 2026 that they did not wish to do so, and the area designation has now ceased.

FAQs

There are certain processes that need to be gone through while preparing a Neighbourhood Plan to make sure that it is in line with government regulations and guidance. The Plan must also conform with strategic policies in the local plan. Have a look at our FAQs page which outlines the process.
